According to KC's search on food in Kluang, it is a must to eat at Kluang Rail Coffee. Later Ing also suggested this place to us. It was pretty close to the hotel. We drove right into the railway station.
This is the place. Look at it...since 1938!! It was packed with people. The place was simple. Grab a place to sit and place your order. I ordered for soft boiled eggs, toasted bun and coffee. KC had the same plus a pack of nasi lemak bungkus.
While waiting for the food to arrive, I took a picture of the station. Just like any other little railway station in Malaysia.
The bun and the coffee. A thick slab of butter with lots of kaya. I love the toasted bun. The coffee was excellent. A big glass. Really 'kau'. Tasted a spoon of the nasi lemak. Very small pack but delicious; it has a little egg, anchovies and peanuts. (I know I should post some pictures but getting lazy taking pictures).

This map shows our present location and our intended destination. Kluang is on the left and we were heading to the right...P.Sibu (in red). All the way to the east; heading into the South China Sea. There's a little town called Jemaluang which we have to pass by before reaching the jetty at Tanjung Leman. Well, with ipad can travel!
