foodtiam coffee

To celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary, we decided to try out one of the many restaurants around City Park, Seremban 2. After circling around, we picked this place, Foodtiam Coffee. There are quite a few of such kopitiam around. This is the biggest, three shoplots; one main like a kopitiam, this is the centre lot (probably the smoking section) and the next lot is air-cond. We chose this as it is empty.

The ambience is cosy and spacious. The tables are marbled top and quite kopitiam looking.

The CNY deco has not been taken down yet.

The white coffee. I drink my share of coffee whenever I eat out and white coffee has always been my choice. The coffee is rich and slightly different in taste from the Old Town White Coffee. Nice.

Food in kopitiams are almost the same. Didn't know what to eat. This is otak-otak fried rice. Oily but nice.

I had nasi lemak with rendang chicken. The nasi wasn't lemak enough. The taste of spice did not get into the chicken; so the chicken was quite bland without the rendang. Overall, ok ok.

Tempura calamari rings. I thought I ordered onion rings. But no regrets. Very crispy and nice. The nicest. Well that was about all we could eat. Glad we didn't order more.

After 16 years, this is how we look. Aged quite a lot compared to the wedding photos 16 years ago where we looked so fresh and green. KC has much lesser hair now and I have grown so much rounder. That's just the physical side of us. But I must say, we have matured in many ways in our relationship and definitely been blessed mightily by God. The highlights of our 16 years are Lyn and Dan.
