ninja grandmas

.....that's how Elizabeth called her mom and two other ladies who attacked a snatch thief.

It was in the morning and these three women aged 50plus to 70plus went for their usual walk. A motorbike came along and the pillion rider got off and snatched one of the ladies' 'tali'. The other two older women reacted real fast with their sticks and screams. Elizabeth's mom whacked the man with her stick. Wow....for a woman aged 75 she was real fast and strong.

The useless man fell and crawled to the motorbike and rode off leaving the women shaky. I suppose in the moment of danger; they were all ready to defend and protect each other; forgetting whatever fear there is.

Is this how the society will be? The young robbing from the old and helpless? I hope the whacking put the two men to shame. Serve them right and kudos to the three ninja grannies!!!!!!

By the way, the police force just had their pay increment. Is that to enable them to relax and enjoy life more or to spur them to better service? Maybe we should just train all the retirees to be ninjas and defenders of the neighbourhood.
