Windemere, Lake District

This is a really beautiful English countryside. It has the mountain and the lake. But...but...but the weather was most unpleasant while we were there. The lakes overflowed and most of the low lands were flooded. It rained most of the time we were there. I was shivering almost all the time. But the scenery was awesome. We were really glad we made the hike up to Orrest Head first thing in the morning. It rained non-stop after that.

The view from the peak of Orrest Head. Magnificent. You can turn 360degrees and still see picturesque views.

He made it....with his kingscout sense. Took me out of the track; short cut he claimed.

Typically English countryside.

We peeped through these on our way and spurred us on to the top to catch a better view.

This is walking/hiking through the English woods....a bit different from our Malaysian tropical jungle. (Amelia, you must do this hike if you have the chance; you would love it.....this place has lots of walks to do and we only did this).
