coffee crunch

250g margarine/butter
180g brown sugar
2 egg yolk
150g custard powder
200g flour
1tsp coffee essence
100g chopped almond
1tsp soda bicarbonate
60g dessicated coconut
Do the necessary.
Bake at 180deg for 17minutes.

I use a one teaspoon measuring spoon to scoop up the dough before forming into a ball; pressed slightly with a fork.


Fresh from the oven. Really crunchy and nice. Gave a bottle to Nee, only two bottles left. Need to bake more.

we used to make the groundnut version of these for CNY when i was much much younger. in those days we didn't know what almonds were....

lol....ppl around me getting rounder n rounder...m worried also. I unconsciously open a bottle n started eating while watching KC eat din last night. I have to stop!!!!
PP: there is peanut cookies too which is not a hit in the fmly; so I don't bake them.
In a few minite, m goin to start baking again.
